Connecting with Melbourne through our website

Our story of creating a website with AzimuthWeb.

As an NDIS provider in Melbourne, we know that reaching out for support can be a personal step. We wanted our website to give people a sense of who we are, what matters to us and the welcome they can expect from our team.

Our starting point

Being understood came first

Before deciding how our website should look, AzimuthWeb took the time to understand SplexCare. Our conversations covered the people we support, our purpose and values, and how we wanted participants, families and others looking for support to feel when they found us online.

We wanted people to feel welcome, respected and comfortable asking questions. In the NDIS and disability support space, clear information and thoughtful language matter. Those conversations gave us a shared starting point: the website would grow from our identity, rather than asking us to fit a pre-existing template.

Our identity

Finding a logo that felt like us

Our logo was part of that process. AzimuthWeb worked through multiple iterations with us, giving us room to respond to each direction and talk about what felt right for SplexCare and the people we work with.

Being able to revisit and refine the design mattered. Our feedback helped shape the result, and we arrived at an identity we felt comfortable putting our name to. It gave the rest of the website a clear foundation and a consistent way to introduce ourselves.

Our words

Sounding like the people we are

We wanted our words to sound like a conversation with our team: welcoming, clear, supportive and human. AzimuthWeb helped us shape the wording across the website, working with our feedback so that our services and approach were easier to explain.

For us, that meant using everyday language, speaking directly to the person reading and keeping their choices and goals in view. We wanted participants and families to understand what we offer without having to work through corporate language or feel they needed to know all the right terms before contacting us.

Our colours and design

Creating a welcome people can see

We also considered the impression our website would make at first glance. With AzimuthWeb, we chose a palette and visual direction that felt approachable, positive and trustworthy to us, and consistent with the identity we were developing.

The colours, imagery, spacing and wording were considered together. We wanted the pages to feel welcoming while giving people room to read and find their way. Seeing those choices come together helped us recognise our own organisation in the finished design.

Our website today

A clearer way to connect

Explore our services

Our finished website gives us a clearer way to introduce SplexCare to people across Melbourne, explain our services and share what we stand for. The logo, wording and design now work together to tell the same story about our support and our values.

It also needed to be straightforward to use. Clear navigation, readable pages and easy ways to get in touch were part of that brief, alongside attention to accessibility, loading quickly and working well on a phone. We valued the care AzimuthWeb put into both the design and the development, with the people using our website in mind.

Our thanks

A website we're proud to share

We appreciate that AzimuthWeb took the time to understand us and kept listening as the project developed. Their contribution reached beyond building the pages: they helped us find a clearer way to express who we are.

We would recommend AzimuthWeb to an organisation looking for a team that listens, welcomes feedback and cares about how the finished website serves its visitors. We're pleased to have a website that feels like SplexCare, and a welcoming place to begin a conversation with us.
